Room for a student

My rendering and composition project for a student room.
The project is my young cousin's first assignment at his design and architecture university class :')
Rendering was of course not required, I just asked him the favour of landing me his project to work on as if I had a commission.
All I had at the beginning was the drawings shown in the last picture and nothing else.
In order to get to the final version I asked for a lot of feedbacks and learned a lot of new techniques I used in the next projects afterwards.
In this one meshes were not optimized and the whole scene in general is missing something, I know, but it was just an exercise and after I spent something like 2 weeks or more on it I called it off and assumed it was decent enough.
I even used some photgrammetric objects from sketchfab without optimizing them fully, I'll know better for next time.
Hope Y'all like it anyway. I am slowly learning new tricks and will totally get better in the future!

Security cam view, of course not the angle I would choose for a final render but since I modeled and furnished the whole 4x4x4 room this was the only angle I could possibly use to show the whole room.

The only well thought shot I realized, love the how the natural light hits the chair pillow and the wall.

Different setting for the light, some people tell it's better but I prefer the previous one.

View of the stairs. In the project they just had a few drawers, I took the liberty of planning a whole sistem of push and pull drawers and cabinets in it. You can see each drawer and cabinet clearly identified by the frames.

The bookcase shown in the plans reminded me of mondrian so here we are, the loft floor is designed to be a happy place where to study and keep a realaxed mind, all in the same primary colors of the mondrian bookcase.

Base plans of the room. I just received these and got back to him after 2 weeks with the renders. This was my first attempt so of course it would take me less time currently, I did learn a few neat tricks in the meantime.
